(Web Desk) - Renowned Pakistani actor Shehzad Mukhtar became emotional during a recent television appearance as he opened up about a long-lost and unfulfilled love from his past.
Recently, Shehzad Mukhtar appeared in Mazaqraat. During the programme, the actor shared that although he had an arranged marriage, there was also a deep emotional connection in his life that never turned into a formal relationship.
He revealed that the relationship lasted for nearly seven years, but neither of them ever expressed their feelings openly. “We used to live close to each other and expressed our emotions only through silent glances. We would wait for each other and communicate without words,” he said.
Shehzad Mukhtar added that the emotional bond dated back to 1983, when he was only 19 years old. He said that both individuals remained silent throughout their relationship, allowing time and circumstances to eventually separate them.
The actor further shared that he got married earlier in life, and on the day he left as a groom, the woman he once loved silently watched him. “Just four days later, she also got married. I cried, and perhaps she did too,” he recalled emotionally.
He said he later focused on completing his education, building his career, and fulfilling his responsibilities, but admitted that the memory of that love still remains in a corner of his heart.
Reflecting on the past, he said neither of them ever expressed their feelings, suggesting that silence and hesitation may have cost them a lifelong opportunity.
